Today

Today was a pretty good day overall.  There were some not so great moments, but they helped make the good moments seem just that much better.

I (finally!) uploaded the pictures from our ladies night at the theatre 2 weeks ago.  My laptop wasn’t interacting with my camera, so I just decided to use the family computer.  And voilà!

As a side note, the red dress I’m wearing is the same one I wore to Jason’s cousin’s wedding over the summer (that I never uploaded a picture for).

 

 

 

I went through all my storage boxes in the basement the other day and found these pictures of Bailey.  She was my “puppy” for all of 3 weeks back when I was about 13.  My parents didn’t want her, and my brother and I didn’t want to go all the work, so we ended up saying good-bye.  But she was great to have around for what little time we had her.

My affirmation of the day was Everything is falling into place.  And everything feels like it is.  Its so easy to forget just how powerful our thoughts and words really are.

The Hills was on tonight, but I didn’t watch it.  It seems a waste of time to watch all the commercials when I can wait a day and watch it online without most of them.

I’m going to attempt to go to bed earlier tonight (aiming for 10 with lights out by 10:15!)

I got some unpacking done as well as some stuff crossed off my To Do list.  So it was a good night overall.

I watched The Hills tonight.  It was awesome.  I love that show!  I think the best thing is that as much as I would like to have all sorts of money and things handed to me like they obviously do, I’m quite happy with the lack of drama in my life.  And the fact that I have friends that don’t turn around and back-stab me in various manners.

Nothing Special

I don’t really have anything to write about.  I just haven’t posted an entry in a while, and figured I should probably try to change that.  Most likely I just have writer’s block – even my personal journal entries are very short and don’t really talk about anything.

So there’s a surprise in the works.  Not saying who it’s for, what I’m doing or anything like that.  But I’m kind of excited.  Hopefully I don’t let anything slip.

I have a stupid cold right now.  I can’t seem to shake it.  And it’s making me slightly miserable.  Just because it’s so annoying.  Especially when I start a sneezing fit.

I want to go shopping, but I need to save my money.  For many reasons.  Although not having any guaranteed hours at my current job (last week I only got 3 hours!) is definitely a big one.  It’s actually kind of hard restraining myself sometimes – there are so many great things out right now.  So that’s why I’m looking for another job.  Wish me luck!

The Hills Season Finale is on tonight.  I’m so disappointed.  There won’t be any new episodes until the next season airs in August (I think…it might be later).  It’s going to be torture.  I absolutely love The Hills.  I know I’ll find other shows to watch (actually I’m especially into What Not to Wear, and 10 Years Younger, and Celeb Rehab, and I Know My Kids A Star…the list goes on…right now) but they just aren’t going to be the same.

I’m really excited for the Sex and the City movie to come out.  I never really followed the TV show, but I love watching it whenever it’s on.  And I’m super excited to see all the fashion.  May sound silly, but it’s in the reviews as being great.  So why not?!

But I’ve run out of stuff so say.  So that’s all for this time.
